Raised In LA, Made In LA - The Story

Mozzuz “Glen Smith”, founder and CEO of Madik Apparel, was part of school sports in Hollywood California, and noticed that the uniforms were rundown mesh uniforms that really were not resonating with the players and what the team represented. Mozzuz thought that if the team had quality jerseys with colors and images that really stood out, it would bolster the team spirit and help motivate them to be their best. This was the seed that germinated into his vision for his journey to make a difference in sports apparel.

Mozzzuz vision started to solidify by starting Madik Apparel 15 years ago in the back of his house in Hollywood with a deep desire to make his mark in sports apparel with a 3 arm 1 station print press and a drive to make a difference. With just a few samples in his hand, Mozzuz started pounding the pavement, knocking on doors of churches and small businesses, and spreading the word through family and friends. His vision caught on and he never looked back.

Three years into his endeavor, Mozzuz moved into his now shop right in the heart of the fashion district in downtown Los Angeles, California. He has realized that, in order to set himself apart, he needs to create an experience for his clients where they can explore their vision in a fertile environment, to help the customer’s vision come to life.

Mozzuz has surrounded himself with a great team of experts that has now grown into a full service printing company that offers cut and sew, dye sub printing, screen printing, embroidery, direct to garment, label branding, print on demand, and custom printing. Madik Apparel offers design and printing on street wear, sports wear, team uniforms, youth uniforms, event t-shirts, youth jersey, allover print, custom printing, and print on demand.

Madik’s reputation for unique and personalized designs have crept into not only the sports world but the entertainment industry and has worked with A list celebrities such as Snoop Dog and Boyz to Men.
